There are numerous folders on the market, with huge variations in quality, as well as in price. To get genuine foldability (down to an easy to store/carry size) you will have to invest over £500. We believe the range of Brompton folders takes some beating. If you need to spend £200 or less be aware that the cycle really won’t perform as you might wish.
Bromptons
All Bromptons are based on the same design and fold to the same size. Most Brompton cycles are made to order to the specification you require. There are choices on number of gears, handlebar design, mudguards, carrying capacity, tyres, saddle and many other minor options. We will happily quote for any combination of these. Prices for Bromptons, with various specifications, range from over £500 to well over £1000.
We are experiencing at the moment an unusually high demand for Brompton folding cycles. Please ring the shop for details of any models currently in stock - as our stock changes on a weekly basis. New orders for particular specifications are taking upwards of eight weeeks, but we do have new models arriving over the next six weeks which are available for sale.
